A Road Trip Journal

A highly collectable numbered and signed limited-edition book documenting Shore's influential road trip across America in 1973, including a facsimile of the journal he kept, as well as photographs he made along the way. Shore's journal meticulously itemizes where he stayed, what he ate, what he watched on TV, which photographs he took and how many miles he drove, alongside pasted-in ephemera such as receipts, postcards and parking tickets. A section of plates showcases every photograph he took while on the road, from small town high streets to plates of food, from hotel rooms to portraits of locals. This collection brings together the entire body of work for the first time, including iconic shots, outtakes and unpublished photographs.
Limited to 3,300 slipcased copies, each one numbered and signed by the photographer.

How does an object change with use or over time? This question is the driving force behind Samuel Ross's work on the Nike x A–COLD–WALL* Capsule Collection, starring a radical reworking of the 2010 Nike Zoom Vomero +5. "I am interested in how a garment ages and in taking the user on that journey. That is something I believe should be encouraged. It's much more human. It's much more dynamic as well," says the London-born designer.
The Nike x A–COLD–WALL* Capsule Collection reflects this philosophy in inventive fabrics, including a technical Japanese nylon that softens with warmth and heat, and the removal of PU coatings from the Nike Zoom Vomero +5 to accelerate the aging process (manifested by a yellowing).

For the first time, Riccardo Tisci brings the sensual Givenchy man to the world of rock and roll. The fall/winter collection revisits his obsessions with America, sport, sexuality, greek neo-classicism, the flag of the United States of America, and infuses a strong latin attitude and mapplethorpe iconography. The overall mood is powerful whilst the silhouettes mix high couture elegance, utility workwear and urban streetwear. Inspired by black and white imagery celebrating the body and sexuality, the collection is rooted in this binary palette but studded with various hues of grey. Starched leather paired with chunky charcoal tweeds offer a contrast between shiny and matte textures. A cotton poplin shirt features sleeves and shoulders in velvet. A collar-less duffle coat is constructed of grained leather and compact wool. An x-ray print of the stars & stripes appears on a velvet sweatshirt.

The Autumn Winter 2017 Collection is all about duality, a reoccurring theme throughout the seasons. With this collection, the brand wants to push the idea further and explore the balance between high and low, mixing everyday essentials with refined pieces. The girl in mind is consequent in her style yet brave and exploring.
Leather, fur, faux fur, wool jackets and coats are the very core of the brand as well as of this season’s collection. The colour palette of warm neutrals, petrol and injections of rich burnished crimsons, pink and dusty blue are turned up with a wider selection of animal prints. All adding to the relaxed, urban, sporty yet sophisticated spirit that STAND is all about.

Winter is definitely here and the New Balance H574 is becoming a more and more appropriate model to break out, with a hiker-style take on the undisputed classic New Balance 574. Up next for the model is this conscious collab, a team up with Asia Acts Against AIDS colored by Hong Kong born hip hop star Eric Kot.
AER Accord No. 02: CADE is a smokey, mysterious scent that starts strong with fiery Cade and burnt Frankincense. Pine forest notes from Silver Spruce give way to sweetness from Guaiac Wood and Madagascar Vanilla, and a dry grassiness from Galbanum and smoked herbalness from Java Vetyver. An intriguing, deeply-layered scent; not for the light-hearted.

A scent of contradictions: soft and elegant, but also bold and totally modern.

AER Accord No. 05: WHITE PEPPER is AER's version of a classic fougère done with a modern edge. A dry, spicy core of White Pepper and bright Elemi blended with opulent Corsican Immortelle battles a Tangerine and Blue Chamomile entry. Tobacco Leaf and Galbanum emphasise the perfume’s crispy dry personality. The scent is underlined by a French Oak Moss – the classic fougère underpinning. Crisp, exciting and full of surprises.
